The Longest Walk
Sounds like a movie starring ME, Fionn, doesn’t it? So, I was super excited when mom got home today. After I had dinner (ALWAYS the first thing I insist on) I wanted to see how far I could walk. I haven’t gone on any of my normal “routes” and the squirrels and bunnies could be taking over the place by now! Mom thinks people need to see how well I can move now that I am 3.5 weeks out from surgery. It’s really no big deal, but SHE gets all happy and stuff. Here’s a couple of videos from today
So, after I do all of this I decide to keep going and see how far I can go. Now, mom didn’t think I would need a leash since, you know, how far can a 3 legged dog go? Yeah, I can go FAR and FAST. Hah! She had to run after me and put on my leash. Something about cars hitting me. I just wanted to pee in all my old places that’s all. I made it pretty far and then needed to rest.
When I need to rest I just sit down (or lay down like today- I went FAR) and mom just has to wait. I saw a bunny after a bit so I had to get up and chase it off, then I visited with Winston who lives nearby. I still had about a block to get home, but I made it! Mom was breathing almost as hard as me and she has both her legs! I’m going to call it a night now. Fionn OUT!

Oh my goodness Fionn! You really had an excellent adventure! Bet those squirrels and bunnies were scattering like crazy when they saw you coming!!
I wasn’t able to see the links to the videos. It just took me to a Google sign in lage or something. I have a tavlet AND I’m computer stupid so I’m sure it’s just me!
But you have given us a glorious description of the “marathon” you and Fionn shared!! And the photo of Fionn shows a very handsome snd very tired boy!! I LOVE the color of his fur and how the red harness compliments it!
HAPPY 3 2/2’WEEKS AMPUVERSARY! Clearly you are rockin’ life on three legs and thoroughly enjoying yourself! 🙂 That’s what it’s all about!

Sorry, my bad. I didn’t make the last 2 videos public. A computer genius I am NOT. They should be view-able now. I’m glad you like the red harness. It was that or black and I thought red was far more fun :). Every day he gets better and can go longer. He’s back to his always happy self (like your Hannah!).
